Hello readers,

My name is Patrick Downey and this is a sports blog with an interesting twist. While most sports blogs tend to focus the story on the winning team, or the team that is “Better” this blog is all about the losing team. Each week you can expect a story about a team that just was handed a big loss, or a team that is having a horrible season. I will analyze what sports writers are saying about these teams and provide my thoughts on how bad sports teams are talked about in today’s media.

I am currently a junior at West Virginia University pursuing a Multi-Disciplinary Studies degree. MDS is a program here at WVU that allows a student to take three minors. That being said, my minors are Journalism, Advertising, and Interactive Media Design. I am interested in creating websites, doing design work such as graphic design, making videos, and overall just using creativity and the power of electronics to create something unique. I also enjoy writing and letting my voice be heard!
